Description

Emanera 40mg is a prescription medicine containing esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid. It is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid-related heartburn and erosive reflux esophagitis, and may also be prescribed for certain ulcer-related conditions.

Each gastro-resistant capsule contains 40mg of esomeprazole as esomeprazole magnesium dihydrate. The gastro-resistant formulation helps protect the active ingredient from stomach acid so it can work effectively. The pack contains 28 capsules, commonly supplied as 4 blister strips of 7 capsules
